Half Dream Half Reality is more than a story — it’s a celebration of love, transformation, and uniquely Australian traditions. 
As I shared in my mission statement, 50% of all profit from book and ebook sales is donated to men’s mental health initiatives. This cause is deeply personal to me. 
Too often, men in our communities struggle in silence, carrying the weight of being perceived as the “strong gender.” The fear and shame of being seen as vulnerable makes reaching out even harder, especially when support is needed most. 
What continues to strike me is the imbalance of available help: there are many shelters and advocacy services for women, and even dedicated shelters for animals. Yet, for men, resources remain limited — despite a growing and pressing need. This gap leaves many without a safe place to turn, reinforcing silence where conversation, compassion, and care are urgently needed. 
By sharing my perspective, I hope to gently create space for these important conversations — not by offering all the answers, but by encouraging honesty and understanding. By inviting dialogue, I believe we can break down barriers and remind one another that the men in our society deserve support too. 
My mission is simple: to bring joy through my writing and social platforms, and to use this creative journey to contribute to a cause that matters deeply.
